Title Conversion: Profile Definition - Personnel Development Purpose If you have upgraded to Release 4.6 or later, you can use this reportto generate a list of the differences between your old profile view andthe new SAP standard settings. You can then use this list toreconstruct your customer-specific settings. Note> This report only creates a list - it does not> change data!Prerequisites You only need to run this report if:
- You use the Release 4.0 or 4.5 versions of the Personnel
Development> component
- You had changed the standard Personnel Development profile view
- You want to reconstruct these customer-specific changes to the standard
profile viewFeatures Selection The report analyzes the customer-specific and standard settings for theobject type headers and subprofiles of the Personnel Developmentprofile view. Standard_variants Output The report outputs a table that is sorted by object type. This tablelists the names of headers and subprofiles in your old system, and theheaders are subprofiles that are new or have been changed in the newstandard system. Please note that only differences between the twoversions are listed! Activities To reconstruct your customer-specific settings, make the necessarychanges in Customizing. - The Appraisals> subprofile is now called Appraisals where
appraisee> in the new standard system.
- In the customer system in question, the Dislikes> subprofile was
not displayed for the object type Person> - it is, though, in thenew standard system.
- The Individual development> subprofile is new, and is displayed
for the object type Person>.
