SAP Program RHEWUV36 - Business Event Costs: European Monetary Union Changeover

This report enables you to carry out the changeover of Training andEvent Management's infotype 1036 (Costs) in the database table T77KB.This changeover is required by the introduction of the single currencyin the European Monetary Union (EMU).
In the parameter Changeover currencies you enter the currenciesthat are to be converted to the Euro. In the parameter Changeoverdate you specify the date as of which the new currency should beentered.
You use the parameters Rounding divisor and Rounding typeto specify exactly how the new amount is to be rounded off. You can runthe report in test mode to see an example of a real run using therounding specifications you make.
The parameter Test run allows you to run a simulated changeover.No database update occurs during a test run. The report displays a logwith details of the records that would be changed in a real run.
We distinguish between two different types of data record:
Records whose validity date lies after the changeover date.
In this case, only the relevant currency amounts are converted. Therecords are saved with the new currency amounts. These records are onlychanged.
Records where the changeover date lies within the validity period ofthe data record.
The old data record is delimited. A new data record is created for theperiod of the record that lies after the changeover date. Amounts areconverted accordingly.
All other data records remain unchanged.

Precondition
You should not start a real run of this report during normal productiveoperation. Execute the changeover at another time.

Start the report in test mode initially to display the data recordsthat will be changed in a real run.
Conversion of the amounts is carried out using exchange rate type 'M'.
The changeover date is taken as the exchange rate day.
You must carry out the changeover for each client separately. All planversions within a client are changed over at the same time however.
