Description The partner netting process reads, selects and matches open items by company, partner, venture, equity group, and special entry indicator and clears them to a single residual item. The partner netting process is configured to allow expense and cash call clearance at equity group level if the operational month field is not active for the selected company. Otherwise, it clears at billing month level if the operational month field is active. Company Code - The range of companies for which the partner netting process should be performed. Venture - A range of ventures for which the partner netting process is to be performed. Partner - A range of partners for which the netting process should be performed. Equity Group - A range of equity groups for which partner netting should be performed. Operations Month - The operations month for cash call transaction. Defalut to previous system month. Only entries which have a processing operations month equal or lower are to be included (also entries which have no OM). Batch Session - Indicates whether a batch session is created Period - The period over which convenience netting is performed. Posting Date - The date of the netting documents created by the netting process. Posting Period - The posting period of the netting documents created by the program. Keep Batch Input - If this flag is marked, the batch input session will not be deleted after a successful run. Note: If all the open items to be cleared for a partner net to zero, partner netting posts lines through FB05. The batch input session requires a line item with an amount of zero, which must be posted to a balance sheet account. The balance sheet account to be used with Partner Netting in this way can be configured by automatic account assignment process JV6. A P&L account cannot be used here because P&L accounts require cost objects, and a cost object cannot be filled by this posting. |
