Purpose
You can recreate totals records before the general ledger transfer.
Since, during a correction of totals records(check totals records), theincorrect totals records are offset as standard and the correct totalsrecords reconfigured, a recreation of the totals records is necessary oruseful in the following circumstances:

• Where there are errors in the totals records that lead to an error in
the general ledger transfer
In this case, the totals records cannot be transferred to the generalledger, even after a correction withCheck Totals Records.

• Where there are several errors in the totals records for a
reconciliation key, in order to keep the number of totals records to aminimum

Prerequisites
The reconciliation key must be closed if you want to recreate the totalsrecords. Only totals records that have not yet been transferred to thegeneral ledger can be recreated.
