Preparation Program for Archiving Payment Card Files

Purpose
Program RFCRDFDF is the preparation program for archivingpayment card files. The program checks that payment card files meet therequirements for archiving and sets the indicator archivable
.

Prerequisites

• You are authorized to archive payment card files.


• The payment card file and all the records it contains must not be
blocked.

• Every data record has a posted FI document.


• The residence time, calculated to key date, of every individual record
of the payment card file has been passed.
The date on which the FI document was posted is applied to determinethe residence time. You determine the residence time of card files inthe payment card menu via Settings -> Card types -> Maintain .

Features
You can choose the payment card files to be archived according to yearof issue, period, card type and payment card file number on theselection screen. You can determine whether a test run should beexecuted or the archiving indicator should be set for the update run.
You can also determine whether a detailed log is to be output.
You can branch to the data files that a payment card file a log bydouble clicking on one of the data files it contains.

Output
Detail log success
If you have set the indicator Detail log success, all paymentcard files are output for which the archiving indicator could be set.
Detail log error
If you have set the indicator Detail log error, the files areoutputted for which the archiving indicator could not be set. If youbranch to an individual card file, the reason for error is specifiedfor each individual data record.
The following causes are feasible:


• You do not have the authorization to archive the file.


• The file or a record were blocked.


• There is still no posted FI document for the record.


• The record is still in the residence time.
