          Selection
          The analysis for the archivability of meter reading results runs asfollows:
          Select installation
          First you have to restrict the archiving volume. To do this, enter theinstallations for which you want the meter reading results to bearchived.
          Determine final date for archiving
          The retention period in days in defined in Customizing for SAP Utilitiesunder Tools -> Archiving -> Define Retention Period for ArchivingObjects. This retention period is used to determine the final datefor archiving. This means that only documents that are older (resident f
          or longer in the system) than the retention period defined inCustomizing can be archived.
          The retention period of archiving object ISU_BILL (billing documentheader) is used to help determine the final date for archiving meterreading results.
          Determine meter reading results
          The meter reading results are determined for each installation up to thefinal date.
          Determine and check billing documents for these meter reading results
          You can only archive meter reading results that have already been billedand for which the billing document can no longer be reversed. This iswhy the billing documents have to be checked. Meter reading results canbe archived if the billing document to which they belong can no longerbe billed.
          Write temporary index
          The meter reading document number and the meter reading document datefor the meter reading results that can be archived are written to indexEABLARCHIVE. This index is the basis for archiving and is deleted fromthe database once archiving is complete.
