SAP Program REEDMSETTLARCH_ARCH - Analyse and Archive Settlement Documents

Purpose
This report is the first step in the process of archiving settlementdocuments. It includes the following steps:
Analyzing settlement documents with regard to archiving
Writing settlement documents to an archive file based on the analysisperformed in the first step

The archiving object includes the following settlement document data:

  • EEDMSETTLDOC: ,,,,Settlement document (header)

    Features
    The following settlement documents are selected using the archivingreport:

    • Settlement documents that lie within the specified area of the document
      • number, the settlement procedure, and the selection variant
      • Settlement documents that have the status Ended, Stopped,
        • or Ended Manually in the document header.
        • Settlement documents whose retention period has expired

          • You define the retention period in Customizing underDefine Retention Period for Archiving Objects
          .
          You can use BAdI ISU_EDM_SETTL_ARCHIVto define addtional archivability checks for settlement documents in asubsequent analysis process. For more information, see the BAdIdocumentation.

          Selection
          When you start the report, you can make the following settings on theinitial screen:

          • Settlement document number: Limit the amount of data to be
            • analyzed to certain settlement document numbers
            • Status of settlement document: Limit the amount of data to be
              • analyzed to certain statuses (only statuses Ended, Stopped
              , and Ended Manually are permitted)
              • Settlement procedure: Limit the amount of data to be analyzed to
                • certain settlement procedures
                • Selection variant: Limit the amount of data to be analyzed to
                  • certain variants for the selection of settlement units
                  • Test run: Start the report as a test run. This means that no
                    • changes are made to the database
                    • Production run: Start the report as a production session. This
                      • means that changes are made to the database
                      • Detail log: Show the detail log with detailed data for every
                        • analyzed data record (this can be very complex with large amounts ofdata)
                        • Comment on archiving run: Enter a comment relating to the
                          • archiving run
