Purpose This report is the first step in archiving log messages from servicecommunication in the AMI environment. It includes the following steps: Analysis of messages with regards to possible archiving Writing of log messages from service communication to an archive file RESET N1 The archiving object consists of the following data:
- TEAMI_LOG_DATA (Log from service communication in the AMI environment)
- TEAMI_LOG_MSG (Messages for AMI communication)
The archiving object related to the archiving of log messages is calledISU_AMILOG>.Integration The archiving of service logs in the AMI environment includes thefollowing reports: Archiving report> The system analyzes the log messages from service communication andwrites archivable entries in the archive file. Deletion report> The system deletes the entries in the archive file from the databasetables.Features The archiving report selects log messages whose residence time hasexpired. The residence time refers to the date of the last change to thelog messages. You define the residence time in Customizing underDefine Residence Time for Archiving Objects>. You can use BAdI ISU_AMI_LOG_ARCHIVE to override the residence time foreach object type. For more information, see the documentation for theBAdI ISU_AMI_LOG_ARCHIVE>.Selection When you start the report you can make the following settings on theinitial screen:
- Object Type>: Limits the data to be analyzed/archived to certain
object types.
- Object Key>: Limits the data to be analyzed/archived to certain
object keys (entry of leading zeros required).
- Process Status>: Limits the data to be analyzed/archived to
certain process statuses.
- Test Mode>: Start the report as a test run; the system does not
make any changes in the database.
- Production Mode>: Start the report as a production run; the system
makes changes in the database.
- Detail Log>: Display log containing extensive data for every
analyzed data record (can be confusing with large amounts of data).
