Purpose Using this report, you can write a gas date in a meter reading document(MR document) for a move-in. In a situation as described in the example below, the followingproblems may arise:
- For demand billing, the gas date must> be maintained, otherwise
billing will be canceled during the operand update.
- For all other billing, the gas date does not have to be maintained.
However you will obtain prorations.Prerequisites The MR document for move-in does not contain a gas date. If you wish toenter a gas date, proceed as follows: Enter the MR document number and the gas allocation date. Choose Execute>. A success message will appear on the status bar.Features If the MR document for move-in already contains a gas date, you willobtain an error message. This prevents existing gas dates from beingoverwritten. Example Monthly calorific values are used for gas billing. The client moved inon 09/30 and the first billing is to take place in October. The meter reading in the move-in does not contain a gas date. Using thedefault allocation logic, September (09) is determined as the monthused to calculate the average. You obtain a proration on 09/30 and the second time slice begins on10/01. As a result, you obtain a time slice of one day for the calorific valuefor September. If however, you maintain the gas date with a date in September, thenyou obtain one> time slice instead of two.
