Title
Set the System Change Option

Purpose
The report INST_SYSTEM_CHANGE sets the system change optionimmediately after installation is completed.

Integration
The report INST_LANDSCAPE calls the reportINST_SYSTEM_CHANGE.
For security reasons, it cannot be called directly.
The report INST_LANDSCAPE is part of the Smart Implementation orcan be called via the transaction INST_CUSTOM.

Features

Selection
The selection parameters are:

  • The system landscape LANDSCAP (1, 2, ... system landscape)

  • The role of the system ROLE (T = Test/development, P =
    • production)
    The parameters must be stored the table INSTPARA.

    Activities
    The system change option is permitted in the development systems (testsystems) of a multi-system landscape or in a single system landscape.
    The system change option is not permitted in the live systems of amulti-system landscape.
