Employee Monthly Schedule (IR349) report (HNZLEMS0) - New Zealand

Purpose
This report displays and prints the Electronic Monthly Schedule (EMS)for your organization. This is a legal report and you must run thisreport every month for submission to the Inland Revenue Department(IRD).

Prerequisites
You must have the payroll results of the month for which you are runningthe EMS report.

Output
This report displays the income, taxation and deduction details for theselected employees. The output also displays the start or finish date,if the employee was hired or terminated, respectively, in that month.
If the employee is terminated in an organization and joins anotherorganization in the middle of a month, the termination date is mentionedin the EMS report of the first organization and the date of hire in thatof the second organization. The details for the employee are mentionedin the EMS reports of both the organizations for the periods that theemployee has worked in the respective organizations.
If an employee is transfered, that is, an organizational reassignmentoccurs, the transfer date is mentioned as the finish date in the EMSreport for the old Personnel Area and as the start date for the newPersonnel Area. The start and finish dates are mentioned in the EMSreports of the two orgainizations only if there is a change in theInland Revenue Department Number. Again, the details for the employeeare mentioned in the EMS reports of both the Personnel Areas, for theperiods that the employee has worked in the respective organizations.

Effective July 1, 2007, this report displays the Kiwisaver details forthe selected employees on the output screen.

Activities

Enter the relevant selection criteria.
Enter the period for which you want to run this report.
Enter the date on which you have run the last EMS report.
Enter the Personnel Area that is used to create the header details onthe form.
Execute the report.

Example
RESET N1
An employee joins your organization on February 1, 2002, which is hefirst day of the pay period for the employee. The EMS report for yourorganization would record the details of the employee from February 1 toFebruary 28.
An employee transfers from your organization to Company X, which has adifferent Inland Revenue Department Number, on February 15, 2002. TheEMS report for your organization would record the details of theemployee from February 1 to February 14, with a finish date of February14. The EMS report for Company X would record the details of theemployee from February 15 to February 28, with a start date of February15 (first day of the pay period for the employee).
