Conversion of Payroll Results Using Parallel Processing

Purpose
You can use this report to carry out the necessary conversions for tablePCL2 in parallel background jobs, to reduce the runtime. For Release4.6C this only applies to the payroll results for the USA and Canada(clusters RU und RK), which are converted by Report
H99U_CONVERSION_46C.

Selection
Apart from the clusters to be converted and the client, you must alsospecify a maximum number of PCL2 records. This is the number of recordsthat are processed during each background job. The best possible numberis determined in the following way:
Transaction SE16 (Data Browser): Enter Table 'PCL2' and select thecluster to be converted, for example 'RK' for Canada or 'RU' for the USA
, under 'RELID' on the selection screen. You can obtain the total numberof cluster records by selecting 'Number of Entries'.
Determine how many background processes the system can provide for theconversion.
Maximum number of records = Total number of records / Number of possiblebatch processes.
Moreover, you select the report to be processed in parallel (this isusually Report H99U_CONVERSION_46C) and the standard variant for thisreport. You can use 'SAP&TEST&' to first carry out a test run conversionwithout updating the database.
