SAP Program FDM_INVOICE_MEMORY - Provision of Invoice Information in Collections Management

Purpose
The program is used to provide or update invoice information that isused in Collections Management, for example, in the transaction ProcessReceivables or with BI extraction. The determination of detailed invoiceinformation is sometimes a very time-consuming process, but you can usethis program to provide invoice information at a separate time from theactual usage.
SAP advises you to schedule the program at a time you are not makingpostings, as clearing transactions and certain document changesinvalidate the invoice information provided. You can process or provideinvoice information in parallel. If you choose the indicator "Selectionfor BI Extraction" , and want to carry out parallel processing due tothe data volume in table FDM_BW_INV_DELTA, then schedule several jobsfor this.

Integration
Company codes for which you want to provide invoice information usingthis program are subsequenty contained in table FDM_INVOICE_ACT. Thesystem analyzes automatically all changes that make it necessary toupdate invoice information in Collections Management. You can schedulethis program at regular intervals to update the invoice information orto provide it for use later. Alternatively, when you create worklists inCollections Management, you have the option of providing invoiceinformation for later use, among other things for the ProcessReceivables transaction, in order to arrange the actual receivablesprocessing more efficiently.

Prerequisites
Company codes for which you want to provide invoice information must beactive in Collections Management.

Selection
In this connection, note the F1 help for the indicatorsSelection for Customers andSelection for BI Extraction on theselection screen.

Output
The result of the program run is logged in the ApplicationLog (object FIDM, subobject FIDM_INV_MEM).

  • The problem classImportant contains reports of errors that
  • occurred during creation.

    • statistics about the number of company codes, customers, and invoiceitems processed.
      • You can Delete entries of the application log that you
      • no longer require.
        To extend the current display variant in the list output, or select adifferent one, choose Settings -> Layout. To configure thelist, you can use the functions of the SAP List Viewer (ALV GridControl).
