Cross-client and cross-system comparison of tables for master datatemplate types

Purpose
This analysis report is only used internally within SAP.
It checks whether the contents of the tables

  • EPDTYPE

  • EPDTYPEA

  • EPDTYPEH

    • are identical in two different systems or clients. Differences areissued in the log. Additionally, the number of entries is issued forthe selected tables and their text tables.

    Integration
    The report reads the tables in the system and client, in which it iscarried out. Additionally, it reads the tables in the system and clientthat are specified via the entry parameters. It issues the differencesin a log. This helps the user to maintain the masterdata template types. It helps to ensure that, for example in theCustomizing client and the test client, the master data template typesare maintained identically.

    Prerequisites
    You can only compare different systems if an RFC connection exists, andboth systems have the same Release status.

      • If you make an entry in the field destination, the tables in the
        • system belonging to the RFC destination are read.
        • You can limit the selection of text tables by specifying the
          • language key (No comparison is carried out for text tables.Only the number of entries is issued).
