Generate Budget Structure from Budget Data and Actual Data

Purpose
You can use the BPCARR00 program if you want to generate aBudget structure (BS) based on already existingbudget data and actual data.

Integration
You must reconstruct the distributed and assigned values afterexecuting and generating budget structures. You start the programs viaBudgeting -> Tools -> Reconstruct distributed values or Reconstructassigned values.

Prerequisites
Ensure that no other activities are executed in the system during thegenerating of the budget structure as well as during the reconstructingof distributed and assigned values - in particular no budgetingand no document entry.

Features
The programm generates the budget structure based on existing budgetand posting data for one FM area per fund. The following objects aregenerated from combinations of funds centers and commitment items inthe budget structure of a fund:

• Budget objects if distributed budget is determined


• Posting objects if executed postings are determined

You can specify the objects to be generated using the indicatorsGenerate budget objects and Generate posting objects.
If you are working with Overall values, you do not have to entera fiscal year because no annual values exist.
If you are working with Annual values, enter a "from" fiscalyear from which a budget structure is to be generated based on existingbudget data and actual data.
Example:
You are working with annual values, are in fiscal year 1999 and enter1997 as the "from" fiscal year. The programm generates a budgetstructure for each of the years 1997, 1998 und 1999 if distributedbudget and/or postings are determined.
Output
The budget structures, and the budget objects and posting objectsgenerated in them, are updated in the database in an update run. Youget a list of the generated budget objects and/or posting objects foreach fund.
