Purpose
Report program EHSWAR_SYSSTAT_CONV checks whether the system status ofentry documents is consistent. If there are inconsistent combinations ofstatuses, these errors are corrected. The following errors arecorrected:

The system status in table JEST (status management) may differ from thestatus in table EHSWAT_ENTAM (entry documents in waste management). Thismay lead to malfunctions in disposal processing. These differences canalso be corrected with this report.
In EH&S 3.2, the system statuses have been redefined in order to controlfunctions depending on the newly introduced business transactions forwaste management. If you run EH&S 3.2 or above, reportEHSWAR_SYSSTAT_CONV also checks whether old system statuses still existin the system. If they do, the report sets the equivalent new systemstatus. For this reason, make sure that you run this report after anupgrade from EH&S 2.7B or EH&S 3.1 to EH&S 3.2 or higher.

Prerequisites
You can only run report EHSWAR_SYSSTAT_CONV if you have not modified theSAP system statuses for SAP EH&S waste management. If you have modifiedthe SAP system statuses for EH&S waste management (for example, bycreating new statuses or changing the business transaction control of asystem status), you may need to adjust this report. This report onlyrecognizes inconsistencies in the system statuses for EH
S waste management that are delivered in the standard system.

Selection
You can use the following selection criteria:

• Test Run (Without Corrections): This option checks the system status of
entry documents, and displays and logs the entry documents that have aninconsistent or obsolete system status. No changes are made to thedatabase. The application log is not saved to the database.

• Correction of System Status on Database: This option checks the system
status of entry documents, and corrects the entry documents that have aninconsistent or obsolete system status. The changes are written to thedatabase. The report shows you an overview of all entry documents withcorrected system statuses. The result is also written to the applicationlog (transaction SLG1).

Output
Report EHSWAR_SYSSTAT_CONV outputs a message log with the actions takenand/or the check results.

Activity
SAP recommends that you always start report EHSWAR_SYSSTAT_CONV with the"Check run (no correction)" option first.
Only start the report with the "Correction of system status in database"option if you find entry documents with inconsistent system statuses.SAP also recommends that you only run the report with the "Correction ofsystem status in database" option when no users are processing orlocking entry documents in the system.
