This demo report shows how any desktop Office applications that supportMicrosoft OLE and ActiveX technologies can be integrated into an R/3transaction. The report uses a new interface, SAP Desktop OfficeIntegration, which is available as of R/3 release 4.0A.
This report allows you to use all the Office applications installed onyour PC to create or edit documents and save them in R/3. You can choosebetween several example documents prepared by SAP, or create newdocuments. Documents can be edited inplace (directly in the SAPGUIwindow), or in a separate window. If documents contain preview data,this data can be displayed in the SAPGUI window even if thecorresponding Office application is not available on the PC.
