Title Converting the Indicator from the DELFLG Field to the PARKFLG Field Purpose The program writes the contents of the DELFLG field to the PARKFLGfield in the tables DGTMD and DGTPK and then clears the DELFLG field. This means that data records that are locked for editing retain theirstatus and continue to be displayed in the dangerous goods masterscreen. Status up to EH&S Release 2.5B:
- By setting the delete indicator in the Change DG Master> screen,
the respective data record was locked for editing and was shown in thedangerous goods master screen in display format only. The data record, however, continued to be present in the database. The system made anentry in the DELFLG field.
- The delete> function physically deleted data records from the
database irreversibly. Changes in the EH&S Release 2.7A:
- Data records deleted by the delete> function no longer appear in
the Change DG Master> screen for editing or display. They are, however, retained in the database and receive an entry in the DELFLGfield.
- The park indicator takes on the former function of the delete indicator
in the Change DG Master> screen. The system makes an entry in thePARKFLG field.Activities When you install EH&S Release 2.7A, the report program DGPCN_DELFLG isexecuted automatically. This ensures that for data records locked forediting by the Deletion indicator> before EH&S Release 2.7A, thisindicator is changed once to the Inactive> indicator.
