Purpose You use this report to create a transport of all data associated to rulepolicies and rules to other clients or systems. You can transport datafrom any context. Execute this report only in the source system. Prerequisites You have created rule policies and rules in the source system. In Client Maintenance>, under Changes and Transportsfor Client-Specific Objects>, your client is set to either Changeswithout automatic recording> or Automatic recording of changes>. We recommend you use this program from the same client that youtransported the ERMS attribute repository from. (You must have tran sported the entries and not manually recreated them in the targetsystem.) The ERMS attribute repository is included in Customizingactivity Define Repository>. There could be serious errors in thetarget system rules if the attribute repository is not the same in thesource and target systems.Features This report:
- Allows you to use search criteria to search for the rule policies.
From the search results, you choose which rule policies you want totransport.
- Adds the following data to a transport request:
Rule policy and rule details, such as the description and validityperiods Rule policy variants Policy statuses Rules and corresponding conditions and actions Rule versions, such as Draft> and Released> Any actions, such as creations, deletions, and changes, are included inthe transport request.
- Is independent of the user interface used to create the rule policies
and rules. Typically, the rule modeler is used.
- Uses the standard Transport Organizer.

The program selectsclient-dependent data.Output Results List> Select the rule policies you want to transfer and choose Add toTransport>. Use Ctrl> to select multiple entries. Transport Request> You can use an existing transport request or create a new one. Thetransport request is automatically set as Transport of Copies>.Enter CL5> as the target system. (CL5> is a generic targetthat allows you to transport requests to any target client or system,even if they are not in the defined transport route.) Release your transport request. Inform your system administrator of thetransport request number and the target client or system the transportshould be imported into.
