SAP Program UMG_CHECK_POOL - Check table pools for invalid records

Purpose
This report should only be used together with transaction SPUMG duringthe preparation of a system for the conversion to Unicode. During thestep 'Consistency Check' of SPUMG a check for invalid records in tablepools is performed. The results of this analysis are saved on thedatabase and can be reused using this report.
If the results are out of date or you want to check a table pool oncemore, you can also use this report to perform the analysis in the sameway as it is done by the 'Consistency Check'.

Features
After starting the report you see the main screen which is divided intothree parts:
In the top left corner there are several icons which are used to performactions on table clusters
@42@ Refresh Tree: Clicking the refresh button will update the tree(restarting the report has the same effect).
@10@ Status: Displays some status information about a table pool. Pleaseselect first a table pool from the tree. Alternatively you can simplydouble click on a table pool of the tree to get the information.
@38@ Check Table Pool: Checks the selected table pool for invalidrecords. The anaylsis performed is the same as in the 'ConsistencyCheck' of transaction SPUMG: all pool tables which are not known to theSAP dictionary are found. Previously stored results will be overwritten.
@11@ Delete Invalid Records: If invalid records were found in ananalysis you can delete them from the table pool using this button.Please select first a pool from the tree for which the invalid recordshave been found. Important: Before deleting the records from thetable pool, check the contents of the table pool and the pool tables intransaction se16 for customer own data !
@0S@ Help: Display this screen.
The lower left corner of the screen consist of a tree which shows alltable pools on the database. These table pools should also be part ofthe worklist of the 'Consistency Check'. Different colors are used toshow the status of a table pool:
Initial, no color: No check has been performed for this table pool.
GREEN: A check has been executed for this table pool. No invalid recordswere found.
RED: A check has been executed for this table pool. Some invalid recordshave been found.
Double click on a table pool to display the status information in theright part of the screen.
The right part of the screen is used to provide status information abouta table pool.

Activities
Known tables
In table pool ATAB there might be references to the tables TCP00, TCP01,TCP07 and TTDCF. You can delete the references of these tables becausethey have been converted to transparent tables as of basis release 6.10.
