Description
This demo report shows how any desktop office applications that supportMicrosoft OLE and ActiveX technologies can be integrated into an R/3transaction. The report uses a new interface, SAP Desktop OfficeIntegration, which is available as of R/3 version 4.0A.
This report allows you to use all office applications installed on yourPC to create or edit documents and store them in R/3. You can choosebetween several example documents prepared by SAP or create newdocuements. You can edit documents either in place (that is, directly inthe SAPGUI window) or in a separate window. If documents contain previewdata, you can display this data in the SAPGUI window even if the relatedoffice application is not installed on the PC.
