Description
This demonstration shows how you can integrate any desktop officeapplication that supports Microsoft OLE and ActiveX technology into anR/3 transaction. The program uses an interface called SAP Desktop OfficeIntegration, available in the R/3 System since Release 4.0A.
This program allows you to use any office application installed on yourPC to create and work with documents, and store them in the R/3 System.You can use one of a range of templates supplied by SAP, or create yourown documents from scratch. Documents can be edited in-place, that is,within the R/3 window, or in a separate window. Documents that containpreview data can also be displayed in the SAPgui window without thecorresponding application having to be installed on the PC.

Choose SAP Netweaver - SAP Web Application Server. Under Release SAP WebApplication Server 6.40, choose a language. A new window opens.
Then choose mySAP Technology Components -> SAP Web Application Server-> Controls and Control Framework -> Desktop Office Integration ->Demo-Programs.
