Purpose Copying a device type to a new device type Features Selection Using references> The formatting actions and SAPscript fontmetrics contained in the source device type are not copied. Instead, the system creates references to the source device type in the targetdevice type. You should only set this parameter if you are sure that the sourcedevice type exists in all systems in which the target device type isused. If your source device type is a customer-defined copy (that is,Yxxx or Zxxx), you should leave this flag disabled. Adjusting INCLUDEs to source:> If the source device type containsINCLUDEs (references) to the source device type, these are converted inthe target device type into INCLUDEs to the corresponding point in thetarget device type. Example: Device type SAPGOF, formatting X_65_80, action INIT containsan INCLUDE to SAPGOF:X_PAPER:INIT. If the above parameter is set, thisINCLUDE is converted into an INCLUDE to ZSAPGOF:X_PAPER_INIT whenSAPGOF is copied to ZSAPGOF. Otherwise, the INCLUDE remains unchanged. |
