Title Periodic Language Supplementation Purpose Transports (such as Support Packages or transports of Customizingsettings) can delete entries in tables that have already beensupplemented. A periodic language supplementation function is useful tocorrect this. Integration An auxiliary program enables you to repeat a language supplementationstarted with transaction SMLT, or to execute it periodically. Prerequisites You must have successfully supplemented a language with transactionSMLT. The parameters of this supplementation action are used as atemplate for the following supplementations. Features Selection The most important entry on the selection screen is the ID of acompleted supplementation, which is used as a template for futuresupplementations. You can use the F4 help to find the ID. Selectsupplementation 1. The second parameter determines whether the report is executed in testmode. In test mode, the report only determines how many tables need tobe supplemented. These tables are then displayed. No newsupplementation is created or scheduled. We recommend that you execute the report in test mode first, and thencheck the list it produces. You can then execute the report in normal mode. You can only executethe report in normal mode in the background. To do this, chooseProgram> -> Execute in Background>. The standard dialog box for entering start data appears. Specify whenyou want the report to start, and whether you want it to runperiodically.Output The individual supplementations and their job data are entered in theSMLT hierarchy, so that you can display the supplementation log and joblog with transaction SMLT. Activities You can monitor the job you schedule with transaction SM37. Alsomonitor the spool list of each job. |
