Description
The program has the same functionality as the function 'Tools ->Hierarchy/Attribute changes' of the Administrator Workbench. Theprogram thus adjusts the aggregate to the attribute and hierarchychanges, and subsequently activates the attributes and hierarchies.
The advantage of this program is that you can regularly schedule it asa background job using Basis (transaction SE38 Program -> Execute ->Background ).
If this program or the function in the Administrator Workbenchterminates, then you can only start the change run once more using thefunction in the Administrator Workbench.
If an InfoObject or hierarchy list is given with the program, then onlythe characteristics or hierarchies, that are in the list and that havechanged, are taken into consideration. The entry parameters are storedas variants so you can schedule the background job with a variant. Ifno entry is made either in the InfoObject list or in the hierarchylist, then all the characteristics and hierarchies, that have changed,are revised.

Output
The messages, that the program sends, are written in the applicationlog (Object: RSSM, Subobject: MON, ext. number MON:PROTOCOLL_ACTION).You can get to these via:
Administrator Workbench -> Tools -> Hierarchy/Attribute changes -> Log.

Example
If the attributes for the characteristic '0Material' are uploadedweekly then you can schedule this program in such a way that it startsafter the load. In this way, you can give the InfoObject list'0Material' as a variant, so that only the changes to the attribute forthe material are considered and not any other changes, that should onlybecome valid at a later date.
