SAP Program RPUPLZC0 - Comparison of Address Data Switzerland

Purpose
With this program (RPUPLZC0), you can check the addresses in Switzerlandthat are stored in the Addresses (0006) infotype against theaddress data of the regional structure Business Address Services,and if necessary, make corrections.

Features
The program exclusively checks infotype records that meet the selectionconditions and contain the value CH (Switzerland) or theinitial value in the LS>Country field.
An infotype record is considered to contain errors if the fieldsPostal Code, Street and House Number, City,Country or Canton are empty (incomplete addresses) or thecheck on the fields Postal Code, City,
Country and Canton against the regional structure leads toan error.
The result of the checks is display in a list, from which you candirectly branch to master data maintenance.

Selection
In the group box Selection, you can determine for which employeesaddress data is to be checked.
In the group box Additional Data, you can further restrict therecords to be checked and influence the scope of the results list:

  • Checking of Infotype Records From

  • If the field is not empty, only those records are checked that are validon or after the specified date.
    • Records in Output List (Max.)

    • If you enter a value unequal to 0 in this field, the size of the resultslist is restricted:
      The system terminates the check for the current personnel number andbranches to the results list, if the number of lines in the results listfor the current personnel number would exceed the specified value.
      • Display All Infotype Records

      • If you select the check box, all checked records are displayed for thoseemployees for whom no errors were found in the address data.

        Standard_variants
        In the group box Additional Selection Parameters, you can specifya display variant for the results list in place of the default variant01SAP.

        Output
        After you have run the program, a results list is displayed with thechecked records of those employees for whom at least one of the checkedrecords has errors. Records with errors are selected accordingly in thecolumn Status and a description of the error is included in thecolumn Message Text.
        A message is displayed in the status line specifying how many infotyperecords have been checked and whether records with errors were found.

        Prerequisites
        Your system administration has made the relevant Customizing settings inthe Implementation Guide for Personnel Administration underPersonal Data -> Addresses -> Set Up Postal Code Check (CH).

        Activities
        To correct infotype records in the results list, proceed as follows:

        • By double-clicking one of the affected records or personnel numbers, you
        • call the desired record, or by simply clicking a record and thenclicking one of the pushbuttons Maintenance of Selected InfotypeRecord (Single Record) or Maintenance of All Records for theSelected Personnel Number (List) , you call the desired infotyperecords.
          • Make the necessary changes.

          • Note
            After you have left infotype maintenance with Back (F3), theprogram automatically checks the infotype records of the processedpersonnel number and updates the display accordingly.
