SAP Program RPUC0002 - Update infotype I0002 : Name conversion in HR master data

Program RPUC0002 changes the database entries for the PersonalData infotype (0002), and is used for maintenance of employee masterdata in Spain and Belgium. It should be used only bythose customers who have upgraded their system to release 4.0, in orderto adapt the names of their employees to the new P0002 DDIC structure.This report also updates the Organizational Assignment (0001)and Family/Related Person (0021) infotypes (Spain only) as theseare connected to employees' names.
The program functions depend on the country, and are as follows:
Spain (country grouping 04):
The program copies the contents of the 'Second name' field(P0002-NAME2) in the Personal Data infotype (0002) into '2°apellido' (P0002-NACH2) for employees of Spanish nationality or forthose whose nationality field is empty.
It also updates the Organizational Assignment infotype (0001),and fills the fields P0001-ENAME and P0001-SNAME according to the tableT522N. Furthermore it adapts the relevant fields in allFamily/Related Person records (0021) for family members ofSpanish nationality or for those whose nationality field is empty.
Belgium (country grouping 12):
In the new DDIC structure the length of a number of fields connected tothe employees names has been extended to 40 characters. Therefore it isnecessary to convert the data existing in former releases in order toupdate the infotype records containing the affected fields.
In the Personal Data infotype (0002), the program transfers theemployee names from the shorter fields used in the former P0002structure to the 40 character fields P0002-NACHN and P0002-NAME2 of thenew P0002 structure. The fields P0002-VORSW and P0002-VORSR arecleared.
It also updates the Organizational Assignment infotype (0001),and fills the fields P0001-ENAME and P0001-SNAME according to tableT522N.

  • Spain:

  • The field P0002-NACH2 must exist in the Personal Data infotype
    • (0002).
    • The field P0021-FNAC2 must exist in the Family/Related Person
      • infotype (0021).
      Belgium:
      • The family name or birthname of the person must be longer than 25
        • characters.

        Output
        Once the conversion has been performed, the program produces a listcontaining the employees whose second surname is now located in thecorrect field and has the correct length, in accordance with theentries made in the selection screen.
