SAP Program RPLABSG0_ENTITLEMENT_DETAILS - Absence Scheme Entitlements Left

REPORT: RPLABSG0_ENTITLEMENT_DETAILS

Title

Absence Scheme Entitlements Left

Purpose
Evaluation report to read and display absence scheme entitlement'sinformation of employees. The report presents a detailed view on everysingle absence scheme entitlement band that the employee is elligiblefor. The report reads and displays any increases or decreases of anemployee's entitlement.

Integration
This report can be run for a group of employees or for each employee asan absence is entered in Absence Entry (Infotype 2001). The latter willgive an EXACT result. The former will not. The limitations below layoutthe reasons why this is so.

Prerequisites
Absence Entitlement Scheme customising must be complete.

Scope of functions
The evaluations in this report are based on information, stored in the'Absences' infotype and in the Payroll Cluster. Any necessary historythat is not in (or up-to-date) in the payroll cluster will be generated.
The output list is separated into a header and a detail line.
The header shows general information of the absence scheme rule (fortheir specific seniority and age) for every person; personnel number, name, scheme, seniority band and age band.
The detail lines show, all the entitlement bands that are included inthe scheme and any adjustments, decreases, increases and amount left.
Male employees do not have their entitlements to Maternity Paymentsshown (i.e. Employees with gender "Male" can't view Entitlements toMaternity Absence Groupings - any containing an 'M').

Activities
In addition to the standard selection screen it is necessary to have aneffective date. This is the date at which the entitlements are checked.
There are limitations to this report that are beyond the normal scope ofa standard document, but have to be enforced due to the nature of how anemployee is attached to a scheme and a seniority calculation.
Firstly, the features for attaching a seniority calculation and a schemeto an employee are both Absence Subtype specific. i.e. each COULD bedefined using the Absence Subtype. So at the effective date an absenceMUST be derived. If none is found then the most recent absence is used.If no absences have been entered before the effective date, then theemployee is assumed to have ALL their entitlements and so the schemeitself can be interrogated.
Secondly, the actual interrogation of the database using a single day'sabsence implies that the entitlements left will NOT take into accountthe effective date's day of absence. i.e. The database is interrogatedat the date of the effective date, but the amount of "Entitlement Left"DEOS NOT reduce the amount of "Entitlement Left" as it would if theprocessing were done as part of the payroll.
