SAP Program RPISVGD0 - Batch Input for New Regulations for Part-Time EEs from 01.04.1999

Title
New Batch-Input Rule for Part-Time Employees as of 01.04.1999

Purpose
Use this report to create a batch-input session, which delimits theSocial insurance infotype (0013), and enters the new data.

Prerequisites
First, check if you have part-time employees who have an additionalinsurance-liable main profession. If so, these employees must payhealth, pension, and nursing insurance. For unemployment insurance,.only a total calculation of part-time employees takes place, so thatinsurance exemption is still possible.
Change this data, so that the employee is not selected for thesubsequent conversion.

Selection
Only employees, who meet the following comditions for the socialinsurance infotype are selected:

  • If the employee works part-time (with SI attribute 05 and UI exemption
  • basis B), and if the record is valid for the new rule time period.
    • If a record that has already been converted. That is, the HI and PI
    • indicators have the value 0.

      Procedure
If employees were selected, you must indicate whether they are assignedas hourly-paid or salaried employees. The employer pays flat-ratepension insurance contributions, and consequently, hourly-paid andsalaried employees must be assigned to different contribution groups. Therefore, you must enter the PI indicator '6' for salaried employees, and PI indicator '7' for hourly-paid employees.
Assign these values with the employee group and the employee subgroup(Infotyp 0001). In table T503, you can assign the employee subgroup, using the field 'Employment Status'. Enter status 1 for hourly-paidemployees, and status 2 for salaried employees.
If such an assignment is not possible for an employee, no conversiontakes place. You can enter a relevant employment status for theemployee subgroup, or you can convert the employee to an already-codedemployee subgroup.
In terms of health insurance, it is assumed that the employee isinsured with a statutory health insurance company, and that theemployer must pay flat-rate contributions. Therefore, you must enter'8' as the HI indicator.

      Output
The employees are listed, where the data in infotype 0013 is converted.Displayed are: Personnel number, employee name, employment status, HIindicator, PI indicator, and the validity range.
A list of employees, for whom no conversion took place, is shown in anerror list.

      Activities
After running the batch-input session you may have to make thefollowing modifications:

      • If you have employees without statutory health insurance, you must
      • enter the HI exemption. To do this, enter the HI indicator 0.
        • If you have employees who decline the PI exemption, in order to receive
        • the full range of pension insurance benefits, you must enter therelevant PI code. Enter PI indicator '1' for hourly-paid workers, andPI indicator 2 for salaried employees.
          • If you have employees, who decline the PI exemption, and who are paid
          • less than the minimum assessment basis for contributions of DM 300, youmust enter a supplementary amount, using infotype 0014 or infotype0015. For an example of this, see wage type MU70.
