SAP Program RPCGNPR0 - Salary Revision through GNP

Title
Salary Revision exerrcise through Golden Number Principle(GNP).

Purpose
This is a salary adjustment report for specifically those employees whoare covered by the Golden number principle. All officers are placed onthe new salary scales on the basis of their substantive salary pointsand in accordance with the conversion tables appropriate to theirpresent substantive scales.

Prerequisites
The GNP Report picks up data from T5RPBSG0, T5RPBSG1 and T5RPBSG2tables.
So entries in these should be maintained using the associated viewsV_T5RPBSG0, V_T5RPBSG1 and V_T5RPBSG2 before running the report.

Activities
The user enters the personnel numbers, personnel area sub area etc. accto the employees to be selected.
In addition the user needs to enter the GNP code for which the GNP hasto be applied on the selected employees.
If test run is deselected then a batch job is created; this has to berun separately to update Infotype 8.

Example
Scenario : Two officers with the same incremental dates beforeconversion
Assuming two officers A and B have the same incremental date of 1stSeptember before conversion and their salary points, $475 and $500respectively on the old scale are bracketed together for conversion tothe same point of $740 on the new scale :
Position of Officer Old Scale New Scale
A on $475 )
) $740
B on $500 )
1. To Determine New Incremental Date of A
#Golden Number# for 1st September is 10;
A is on first step bracketed, therefore
10 + 0 = 10;
The result divided by the number (2) of salary steps bracketed togetheris
10 divided by 2 = 5;
The new incremental date corresponding to #Golden Number# 5 is 1stFebruary.
2. To Determine New Incremental Date of B
#Golden Number# for 1st September is 10;
B is on 2nd step bracketed, therefore
10 + 12 = 22;
The result divided by the number (2) of salary steps bracketed togetheris
22 divided by 2 = 11;
The new incremental date corresponding to #Golden Number# 11 is 1stAugust.
