Description
This report is used to generate and print letters for applicants.

Precondition
You must specify which letters an applicant is to receive in theplanned actions for this person. You can normally generate lettersonly for those planned actions defined by the system settings.
You must, however, first assign a letter text to each planned actionfor which a letter should be generated. You must also mark theRecurring tasks checkbox. Make these settings by following themenu path -> Action -> Maintain -> Process -> Planned actions-> Select.

Output
The report enables mass processing of letters. It allows you togenerate and print all required letters in a single run. By enteringselection criteria on the initial screen, you can limit the number ofletters to be printed.
When a letter is generated and printed by the system, one of thefollowing two cases may apply:

• 1: The letter is generated and printed without errors. In this case,
the system displays the applicant number for the letter andthe text number.

• 2: The letter is not generated and printed. In this case, the
system displays the applicant number for the letter and the error.

Dependencies
After the report has been run, you can automatically mark all plannedactions for which a letter was printed as Completed usingreport RPAPRT02. You can start this report using the menu path-> Recurring tasks -> Print letters -> Complete actions.
