Purpose
As of SAP Oil & Gas 4.72, the conversion group Customizing tablecontains a new field RFC_RELEASE.

Integration
If you set this indicator, the conversion group can be selected byexternal applications which may utilize the RFC enabled function moduleOIB_QCI_GET_CONVGRP_AND_PARAM. Then, external applications may utilizethe conversion group information in order to perform an RFC call offunction module OIB_QCI_CONVERSION_SIMPLE.
This function module may then execute routines which are NOT deliveredby SAP, but are part of license agreements of other software providers,for example, the American Petroleum Institute (API) or the American GasAssociation (AGA). SAP does not release any conversion groups forexternal applications that utilize such non-SAP software when performingquantity conversions.
With this report, the indicator can be set for a defined conversiongroup. It is delivered so that customers can define their own conversiongroups that utilize customer-specific conversion routines which can beused using the RFC technology beyond system boundaries. SAP does notintend to develop any functions that are released for customers thatcarry out quantity conversions based on third party software solutions.
Since this new field is not utilized at present, the report is deliveredwith a additional EXIT command that prevents execution.
