SAP Program RNSESP1 - IS-H ES: CMBD and CMA Statistics (Discharges/Outpat. Surgeries)

Description
This program creates either of the following statistics:

  • CMBD - Statistics on inpatient discharges

  • CMA - Statistics on outpatient surgeries

  • The program lists the selected cases and saves them to a sequentialfile on the presentation server.

    Precondition
    You must enter the institution, evaluation period, name of the outputfile and specialty category for the discharging department.
    The permitted values for the specialty categories are the user-definedcategories '9', 'A' or 'C'.
    The program does not evaluate cases for which the Statistics block
    indicator is set.
    Selection criteria
    In addition to specifying the institution and evaluation period, youcan restrict the number of cases selected by using the followingcriteria:

    • Departmental and nursing organizational unit(s)

    • Admission type (CMBD statistics)

    • Visit type (CMA statistics)

    • If the option Test mode is selected, the program is executed intest mode. In other words, an output file is not created.

      Output
      The output is displayed with the SAP List Viewer. You can choose whichinformation you want displayed and how it is sorted.
      Patient- and case-related data as well as the discharge date (CMBD) orsurgery date (CMA) is output be default:
      If you select the option Log missing specifications, cases forwhich one or more fields (e.g. invoice recipient, discharging dept.)were not filled are characterized by an orange traffic light icon onthe output screen. A log of the missing specifications is created.
      You can also choose to use all of the fields that are saved in theexport file.
      Structure of the export file and origin of field contents:

      • HISTORIA - Patient number

      • The last 7 digits of the patient number are used.
        • FECNAC - Date of birth

        • SEXO - Sex

        • '1'-male, '2'-female, '3'-unknown
          • RESIDE - Postal code

          • If missing: Region (NPAT-BLAND); for non-nationals: '54' followed bycountry indicator
            • REGFIN - Invoice recipient

            • The left position of the field Case category (NFAL-FATYP) isused.
              • FECING - Admission date (only CMBD)

              • TIPING - Admission category (only CMBD)

              • '1' if the emergency cases indicator (NBEW-NOTKZ) is set ('X'),'2' if not.
                • SERVIC - Discharging department

                • The 3 left positions of the selected department category field(NORG-FACHR9/A/B/C) are used.
                  • FECALT - Discharge date (only CMBD)

                  • TIPALT - Discharge type (only CMBD)

                  • The left position of the field Movement reason (NBEW-BWGR1) isused.
                    • FECINT - Surgery date

                    • If several surgeries exist for an inpatient case, the most recent ssurgery date is used.
                      • C1-C13 - Diagnoses

                      • The 6 left positions of the diagnosis code (NDIA-DKEY1) are used.
                        The secondary diagnoses are taken into account in the following order:Department main, discharge and surgery diagnoses. All other diagnosesare output by date.
                        • P1-P13 - Main surgical procedures

                        • T1-T8 - Secondary surgical procedures

                        • The 5 left positions of the surgical procedure code (NLOP-ICPML) areused.
                          The procedures are output by date within both groups main and secondarysurgical procedures.
                          • HOSPITAL - Hospital number

                          • CIAS_PRO - CIAS code

                          • The 6 left positions of the number of the family physician (NPER-ARZTN)are used. If the family physician has not been entered and the patientis not a non-national, the 2 left positions of the region (NPAT-BLAND),the 2 left positions of the geographical area (NPAT-GEBIE) and '00' areused.
                            Note: the output file is created in the dbase format and savedon the presentation server.
