                  Special Features of Period Selection
If you do not enter a start or end date, the program searches for validmaster data in the period 1/1/1990 - 12/31/9999. The explicitspecification of a validity period only relates to the validity of theservice. The service assignments and service columns are determinedindependently of the period specified for the entire period in whichthe found service is valid.

                  General Notes

                  • The runtime improves considerably if you do not display the
                  • column values and assignments, but a catalog instead.
                    • When specifying Valid from and Valid to, the services
                    • that are valid on at least one day in the respective interval areselected.

                      Example
If you enter 0001 for the institution, 02 for the servicecatalog, P* for the service and 01/01/94 through12/31/9999 as the validity period, then all of the services thatexist in the service catalog 2 of institution 1 are displayed, whichhave a service code starting with 'P' and a master record that is validon at least one day in the period 1/1/94 - 12/31/9999.
If you want to select all of the services that are not service groups, then do not select Service group, and choose Single valueunder the selection options so that the parameter is not ignored.
If you want to select all of the services that are valid on 01/01/95,then enter this date in both the Valid from and Valid tofields.
