Description Program RNC301U9 creates a case-relevant list of EDI messages whichhave been sent but not yet confirmed. Messages considered as sent arethose with either the status 'sent and unconfirmed' or 'sent andconfirmed'. The program is primarily for EDI procedures administrators in thehospital. To avoid large and possibly time consuming data volumes, restrict thenumber of hits with selection criteria (selection interval, case, andsequence number of message). Use F4 input help to select criteria. Precondition Authorization To execute this program, you need S_PROGRAM authorization with theSUBMIT action for the authorization group specified in the programattributes. N_EINR_REP authorization is also necessary for the requiredinstitution and report RNC301U9. If you do not have authorization foran individual institution, you are unable to access its data. Valid EDI procedures This program works for case-related EDI procedures only (not for anyother EDI procedures, e.g. NPMI). Function range Selection Obligatory INCLUDE ISH_SE_INSTITUTION OBJECT DOKU ID TX You must also enter a valid Communication procedure> (EDIprocedure). Note that this program is not suitable for communicationprocedures which are not case-related (e.g. NPMI). The system suggeststhe last EDI procedure you selected. Enter the Outbound message type> and the correspondingInbound message type>. In the input help of both fields, onlyvalid message types for the EDI procedure you selected above arelisted. The Single inbound msg. sufficient> option lets you control theprogram's behavior when there are several instances of the sameoutbound message for a case: If you flag this option, one inbound message is sufficient to ensurethat outbound messages are not displayed for this case, even whenseveral have been sent. Time is not a factor in this logic. Thiscorresponds to a n:1 check. If you don't flag this option, the program looks for an appropriateinbound message for each outbound message. If this is not found, theprogram lists the outbound message. This corresponds to a 1:1 check.Optional Further selection options are entering Start of selection> andEnd of selection>. The default setting for the selection intervalis the last 31 days excluding today's date. If only certain cases should be considered in the evaluation, you canrestrict the selection further with a corresponding entry in theCase> field. If you only want certain message numbers, select a corresponding entryin the Sequence number of message> field.Output A list of cases is output for which a message has successfully beensent but no corresponding reply has been received. The list can besorted as required and you can create and store your own layouts. However, the leading field Case> cannot be hidden and remainsfixed even if you scroll sideways in the list. You can see a detailed overview of selected cases by positioning thecursor on the corresponding line and selecting Goto -> EDI caseoverview> or the EDI case overview> symbol. Or you can simplyclick on the case number. A dialog box containing a list of all selected fields - regardless ofthe fields that are hidden in the current layout - by double-clickingon the line (not on the Case> field) appears: the Caseoverview> appears here.Example For the communication procedure used in Germany P301, a coveragemessage (message type KOUB) is generally received when an admissionmessage (message type AUFN) is sent. If you enter the following selection criteria, you will get a list ofall cases for which an admission message was successfully sent in theselection interval (July 2002) but for which a message confirmingcoverage has not yet (system date, system time) been received.
