Description
You use the program BPCARRY02 exclusively for converting theBudget structure (BS) from a non-yeardependent to a year-dependent master data maintenance. The BS of an FMarea valid before the target year is used as a template.
The program supports the derivation strategy for reassigning FM accountassignments in the closing operations to be carried out. You can alsouse the program without the derivation strategy. If you do this, thelast valid BS is copied, provided that the master data exists in thetarget year too.

Precondition

• You do not work with total values.


• The fund is also valid in the target year.


• No BS has been created for the fund in the target year.


• The funds centers and commitment items of the BS elements are created in
the target year and/or the attributes of this master data are allowed inthe target year.

• Reassignment using the derivation strategy: You have defined the
settings in the IMG activity Define DerivationStrategy for Reassignment.

Features
You apply the BS copier per respective fund. With this, only thoseBS elements are transferred in afund, which are valid in the target year. In the target year, you canthen complete the copied BS in the normal BS individual maintenance withadditional budget structure elements.
Note:
You must execute the program for those target years and create a budgetstructure, in which budget was already previously allocated with thenon-year-dependent maintenance. You have to maintain data records witherrors manually. You cannot start the program a second time.

Special feature for budget structure templates
The program does not support the copying budget structure templates. Ifyou have used budget structure templates previously, then the budgetstructure templates assigned to funds centers
are broken up into the individual BS elements during copying and onlythese BS elements are transferred.

Output
After successfully copying a BS, you receive confirmation for therespective fund.
If errors occur, the incorrect data records are listed for a BS.
