Description
This program deletes the delivered circulation figures from thecirculation book (no returned copies) so that the circulation book canbe set up from deliveries again. The update indicator is reset in thedeliveries in question.
The data is deleted for a period that can be selected.

Selection options:

• Shipping period (corresponds to an audit period)

or alternately

• Publication period (when deleting data by issue)


• Publication delivered


• Edition delivered


• Logistical delivery type

The following parameter can be used to control the program:

• Test run

If you select this parameter, the program is run as a test run withoutmaking any changes to the database.
Note
This program does not delete returned copies.

Precondition
An audit report should not have been sent to the appropriate institutionfor the data area to be deleted, since figures audited would be deleted(and might also be changed during reorganization). This is checked bythe program.
The following types of processing must not take place parallel todeletion of circulation book data:


• Processing returned copies


• Netchange for circulation planning


• Reorganization of circulation planning


• Delivery processing


• Shipping preparation for insertion/distribution/delta coverage


• Update of circulation book data

Output
The program displays a log listing the editions, shipping andpublication dates for the data deleted.
The log is stored physically on the database as a general applicationlog (log object JCIRCBK; subobject JCBDEL). This means you can displayit at any time. Tools for doing this are available in the circulationbook.
