Evaluation of Error Messages

Purpose
This function allows you to determine sales documents that have beentransferred to the technical system that have data that cannot beprocessed in the technical system.

Prerequisites
You have connected a technical system to the Advertising ManagementSystem. You have issued production orders for the technical system.

Selection
Sales document numbers are available to you as selection criteria.

Output
The system displays sales documents that match the selection criteriain a list on the display screen. The list is sorted in ascending orderby sales document, item, schedule line and ad spec number. You canhowever use the Sort and Display variant functions tosort this differently.
The system displays at least one message and version number in theerror list for each sales document. Numbers are used as follows:

  • Message number:

    • Number that indicates how many error messages have been entered for asales document. Error messages that have been entered for a salesdocument are numbered consecutively
    • Version number

      • Number that indicates the number of times that a sales document hasbeen transferred from the Advertising Management System to thetechnical system. The system increases the sales document versionnumber by one each time the document is transferred.
      The system displays an error type and an error message for each salesdocument. Error messages are categorized and you can display thefollowing error messages:
      • Error type 1: Repeat transmission

        • The technical system cannot process the sales document because thepagination system was not available when the data was transferred.
        • Error type 2: Postprocessing by the user

          • The technical system was unable to process the document data because apositioning instruction was entered in the Advertising ManagementSystem that was not recognized by the pagination system.
          • Error type 3: Postprocessing by the system administrator

            • The technical system could not process the document data due to serioustechnical problems, because for example the database does not exist.
            The TechSyst field identifies which component in the technical systemhas reported the error.
            If you want to transfer a sales document with error type 1 to thetechnical system again, you should select the sales document and chooseReload. The system reloads the sales document into the technical systemagain.
            If you have resolved an error that you cannot process further in thelist, you can delete the sales document from the list instead ofreloading it.
