Description
This program is used to copy the stock check indicators from the serialnumber profile to the individual serial numbers. The stock checkindicator must then be copied if you have changed the indicator in theprofile and already performed goods movements with serial numbers.
This program has a long runtime. For this reason, you should make surethat the parameters of the program are set in such a way that theruntime is not increased unnecessarily.
Generally, SAP recommends that you first start this program in testmode.
The parameter Adapt plant-neutral serial no. refers to serialnumbers at the customer company, for example. The parameter must be setif these serial numbers should also be given the changed stock checkindicator, otherwise only the serial numbers of the plant areconverted.

Recommendations
If the change to the stock check requirement only affects a few serialnumbers (meaning the specified serial number profile only refers to afew serial numbers), then you should not set the parameter Lock allserial numbers.
However, if the change affects several serial numbers, you shouldalways set this indicator, so that all serial numbers in the currentoperation are locked and this does not result in an overflow of thelock table.
If you want to reduce the runtime further, you can decide not to createa list of all the changed serial numbers.
