SAP Program RIMASE01 - Adjust MASE Entries to Match Resident DB Status

Title
Adjust MASE Entries to Match Resident DB Status

Purpose
If the last numeric serial number (entry in table MASE) of a materialis displayed as being too high, this report can be used to reset theentry in table MASE to a value that corresponds to the that of the lastnumeric serial number in SYSTEM.

Integration
If serial numbers are reorganized, it is possible that the highestserial number has been archived. In this case, the corresponding MASErecord is not changed.
The existing correction report does not check any archived serialnumbers!
Result: If the correction report is run for a serialized material, serial numbers that have already been archived can be reassigned wherenecessary.

Features

Selection
You can specify in a selection screen the materials for which the entryin table MASE should be set to a current value.

Output
The materials for which the last numeric serial number does notcorrespond to the entry in table MASE, and that were changed, aredisplayed together with their changes.

Example
In transaction IQ02, 4711 is displayed as the last numeric serialnumber. However, in reality the last numeric serial number (accordingto table EQUI) is 1024.
If the report is now restarted with the corresponding material, theMASE entry is changed from 4711 to 1024, and the transaction IQ02 willthen display 1024 as the last numeric serial number for the material.
