Purpose
If the physical inventory data of a serial number, which was defined inthe inventory, deviate from the system inventory data of the serialnumber (for example, different storage location or different plant),then inventory differences cannot be posted (see also Example).
You can use this program to analyze the inventory data before theadjustment posting. The program considers all the inventory documentsand items that were partially or wholly counted, but whose adjustmentswere not yet posted.

Prerequisites
The physical inventory data for the inventory document differs for atleast one item for at least one serial number of the system inventorydata.

Output
If the inventory document data deviates from the system inventory dataof the corresponding serial numbers, the program contrasts these datarecords with each other, displaying the deviant inventory data in red.

Example
In the follow case the system does not allow the posting of theinventory difference, but displays the message "Inventory data of theserial number NN does not belong to the movement" (IO231):
If, during the stock transfer of a material requiring a serial numberbetween two storage areas, you transpose the corresponding serialnumber, the serial number is assigned to one storage location, while itis physically in the other storage location.
