Total Up Budget Updates into Original Budget

Purpose
You can use this report to carry forward budget updates from onefinancial year to the next. The budget updates are written to theoriginal budgets of the budget structure elements. The original budgetsof a budget structure element are the old original budget plus thebudget updates of the budget structure element and all its lower-levelbudget structure elements.

Integration
The carrying forward of budget updates is part of the process forcarrying forward the overall budget. You should make sure that thebudget hierarchy has already been carried forward since this hierarchyand the original budgets of the subsequent financial year are used.

Prerequisites
The overall budget of the subsequent financial year must already exist,and its budget status must be "Proposed" or "In process". It does notmatter whether budget rules have already been carried forward- thisdoes not affect the carrying forward of budget updates.

Features
Any changes made manually to the overall budget of the new financialyear are taken into account. If, for example, you change the originalbudgets manually, the changed values are used. If the validity periodof a budget structure element expires during the new financial year,monetary-based budget updates are reduced accordingly.

Selection
All budget structure elements located below the access objects arecarried forward. The access object does not necessarily have to be theroot object - you can, for example, carry forward specific sections ofthe budget hierarchy.
There must be no time gaps between one financial year and the next. Allbudget updates that are valid on the key date in question are carriedforward.
