General Settings for Transferring Materials from R/3 to EBP Purpose
If only EBP is used (that is, not EBP and CRM), you use this program toset up the EBP system for the transfer of materials from R/3 to theproduct master in the EBP system.
Besides adapting the necessary middleware settings automatically, thisprogram also regenerates the corresponding code. For this reason, aruntime of approximately 30 to 60 minutes is to be expected.
The program does the following:
- Sets all business objects, except MATERIAL, to inactive in middleware
object management.
- Sets all customizing objects, except DNL_CUST_PROD0 and DNL_CUST_PROD1
to inactive in middleware object management.
- Sets all condition objects to inactive in middleware object management.
- Flags the following tables as inactive in middleware object management
for the object MATERIAL:
MARC
MLAN
MVKE
STXH
STXL
- Flags the following tables as inactive in middleware object management
for the customizing object DNL_CUST_PROD1:
T179
T179T
- Makes the following changes in the basic middleware settings
(transaction R3AC6 / table SMOFPARSFA):
Changes the parameter value for the key CRMGENERAL, parameter nameLOG_LEVEL, to T.
Changes the parameter value for the key FLOW, parameter nameFLOWTRACE_ACTIVE, to X.
Changes the parameter value for the key DEVSYSTEM, parameter nameDEVSYSTEM, to X.
Changes the parameter value for the key R3A_COMMON, parameter nameCRM_VERSION_ACTIVE, parameter name two SYNCHRONOUS_CALL, parameter namethree 1.2, to X for the first and also the second parameter value.
- Sets the EBP application to active and the CRM application to inactive
in the middleware table containing the active/inactive applications(table SMOFAPPL).
- Deactivates the field Division in the product master because the
division can be used only in CRM.
This program also allows you to specify whether you are using theservice product. If you are, the relevant objects SERVICE_MASTER andDNL_CUST_SRVMAS are activated.

If you later want to use CRM in addition to EBP, you can use thisprogram to undo these settings. This causes all objects in middlewareobject management that are active in client 000 (SAP delivery client)to be set to active in the current client.
