SAP Program RGSALEAT - Send Activity Type Groups via ALE

Description
Program to send a complete activity type hierarchy via ALE. Enter thefollowing parameters:

  • Name of the highest hierarchy node

  • Hierarchy controlling area

  • Logical system in which the hierarchy is to be sent. If this remains
    • empty, the hierarchy is sent to all systems determined in thedistribution model.
    The program checks whether ALE is active and transfers all nodes fromthe hierarchy to the ALE level as IDOCs of message category COGRP5.

    Precondition

    • Hierarchies can be sent only from the controlling area's home system.

    • ALE is active for message type COGRP5 and for the target system.

      • Output
      If the selection criteria result in multiple hierarchies, the systemcreates a separate IDOC for each hierarchy.
      In all logical systems supplied with message type CORGRP5 from ALE, thesystem creates the hierarchy as it appears in the home system. If youentered a single target system, it appears only in this system.
      This process overwrites existing groups if they belong to the samecontrolling area.
