Clearing Customer Open Items in Lease-Outs with Total Balance Zero(report program: RFVIEPCD0, transaction: FOPA)

Purpose
It frequently occurs that open items exist for lease-outs for which thetotal balance equals zero. For instance, a tenant pays the rentpunctually before the debit position run. An open item cannot becleared straight away, and a payment on account has to be madeinitially, then the account has to be maintained manually.
This tool makes it easier to "clean up" these accounts. The open itemsare cleared against each other.

Integration

Prerequisites
There must be a lease-out account assignment for the open items.Entries must exist in field BSID-VERTN.

Features
The report can be used for lease-outs of master tenants with customeraccounts.

Selection
You select the open items for the lease-outs in question in the IDFlogical database.
You can also specify a clearance date. The system only takes account ofitems with a posting date BEFORE the clearance date.

Standard_variants

Output
A log is generated on the items cleared and any errors encountered. Theobject FIRE and subobject EPCD are used in the application log (Tools-> Business Documents -> Environment, transaction SLG1).

Activities
Enter the required lease-outs in the selection screen.
Processing dialog:
A hierarchical list with the selected lease-outs is displayed as wellas the items to be cleared. From here, you can go directly to thecontracts or documents. Select the contracts you require and clear theopen items. A status display (traffic lights) indicates if the clearinghas been successfully carried out. The results are also logged.
Background processing:
You can clear the items for the selected contracts as a background joband print a list. With transaction SLG1, you can display the log(object FIRE, subobject EPCD).
