SAP Program RFTBARC2 - Limit Archiving: Deletion Program

Title
Deletes limits, utilizations and dependent limit management datapreviously archived.

Purpose
The program deletes the following data:

  • Tables

  • VTBLV (limits)
    VTBLVIL (interim limits)
    VTBLIL (logs for determination runs)
    VTBLIS (utilization totals)
    VTBLII (utilizations index)
    VTBLIE (single utilizations)
VTBLID (all characteristic values for each single utilization)
    VTBLSD (global collateral)
    VTBLSI (global collateral index)
    VTBLSE (single global collateral records)
VTBLSD (all characteristic values for each single global collateralrecord)
In addition, combiniations for characteristic values for limits(generated client-dependently for each limit type, previously tableVTBLS. See also the Release Notes for 4.63)
    • Dependent change documents

    • Notes
    • Integration
The program is fully integrated with the standard archiving transactionSARA. The prescribed archiving object is called TRTM_LM. Thiscombination is set as the parameter transaction (transaction codeTBLARC). You should NEVER run the report as a stand-alone programoutside SARA or TBLARC. In this case, the relevant data for archivemanagement is not written to the database. You can view archived datausing the Archive Information System (transaction SARI).

      Dependencies
      The following are NOT deleted:
      Valid limits
Utilizations that count towards the exposure for a different limit type(that is not archived). The same applies for global collateral.
Current utilizations for valid limits. Only "past" utilizations can bedeleted. The same applies for global collateral.

      Prerequisites
The data to be deleted must be archived first. For more information, see the documentation for report program RFTBARC1.

      Output
The system displays a list of the deleted table objects (limits, utilizations). Archived Customizing data is NOT deleted.

      Further information

      • Report program RFTBARC1 (archive data relevant for
      • limit management)
        • Report program RFTBARC3 (reload archived data)
        • Further_hints
At present, it is not possible to select the data to be deleted orreloaded. The system always deletes or reloads all the archivingobjects for an archiving session. SAP therefore recommends that you runan analysis of the current database status before archiving (seeprogram RFTBARC1) using appropriate selectioncriteria (in "portions").
          NOTE:
In certain circumstances, the reload functionality is restricted. Formore information, see the documentation for report programRFTBARC3.
          Notes can NOT be reloaded.
