Purpose
You use this program to check whether the settings in the Customizing ofclearing control are consistent.
The program is not executed automatically if you define settings for thenote to payee control or for other IMG activities.
To guarantee consistent settings in Customizing, you must always executethe program if you make changes in Customizing for clearing control.

Features
The program checks the settings for the following IMG activities:

• Create Folder Variants for Grouping of Postings

(Table FMLGD_H_GRPNR)

• Define Error Handling (Table FMLGD_H_MSGNR)


• Define Note to Payee Control (Table
FMLGD_H_CUST)
The program checks both the individual table entries as well as thedependencies between the tables listed above.
If you use the account assignment profile for the payment assignment,and have therefore defined account assignmentmethod 01 in the note to payee control, the program checks whether anaccount assignment profile exists for the corresponding posting type -01 to 06 - (tables FMLGD_H_VG_XX_01). A check to see whether the accountassignments defined in the account assignment profiles are complete andcorrect does not take place.
A check on further Customizing tables of the clearing control does nottake place.
The program logs the inconsistent settings and issues the correspondingerror messages in theApplication log.
The messages are sorted according to tables and in the tables accordingto the individual entries. In order to determine for which entry anerror message was issued, you can branch to the long text of the messageby clicking on the question mark.

Selection
The check takes place for all entries in the Customizing tables ofclearing control. No selection is required.

Activities
If errors are displayed in the application log, you must correct theerrors in the corresponding IMG activities.
You can only execute applications that use the clearing control if theapplication log no longer displays any errors.
