Description
As of 4.5A, the structures (database tables) for actual/commitment datain Funds Management (FM) have been converted. This report programconverts the actual/commitment data you already have to the newstructures. Start the program immediately after changing releases.

Precondition

• You have leveled the line items and the old data totals (program
RFFMS012).

• Make sure that not postings are made before or during the conversion
process.

Notes on the Parameters
The following paramters should only be used in test mode, with arestricted document selection.


• All constraints on external document selection (company code,
purchasing documents, and so on

• Detail list

Otherwise, the spool fil in a mass conversion may lead to storagecapacity problems.

Notes on Performance
Parallel processin can improve conversion performance. The followingprerequisites apply:


• You have access to more than one processor.


• You allow more than one active batch job at a time.

To process conversion packages in parallel, you can start theconversions for multiple FM areas and fiscal years simultaneously.

Notes on Runtime
As this program is has a long runtime, you should always execute it inbackground processing.
Internal tests have shown that, on a machine of average speed, andwithout using parallel processing, 1 million FCABP records areconverted in 3-4 hours.

Output
The program tells the number of documents treated as follows:


• Read


• Converted


• Defective

Not all the documents read have to be converted. However, if you havedefective documents, you should contact the SAP Helpdesk immediately.
