SAP Program RFFMKFCHECK - Comparison of Key Figures (Reporting Key Figures)

Purpose
Using this program, you can compare the key figures and thecorresponding key figure terms of a source system with those of anytarget system. The differences between the key figures with identicalkeys are checked and displayed. The differences in the field group of akey figure or a key figure name are also determined and displayed.
The source/target system can be the current logon system andcorresponding client, the RFC destination of a comparison system or adata file of key figures.
You can also select key figures in the source system and have the systemcorrect them automatically. For this, you have to select the option"client" as the source (corresponding to your logon client). Thecorresponding match data is determined from the values from the target(client, RFC destination or file upload).
Select the key figure you want for this and start the matching using thepush-button "update of key figures".
Note that the automatic matching of key figures does not have its owntransport link. If necessary, you have to select and transport the keyfigures in the transaction "Definition of Key Figures" (TA: RPKFDEF).
Note/Recommendation:
You can use the key figure compare program to save all key figures of asystem (download option). This means you can make a version of yourchanges or recreate the key figures of a system based on this file ifthey were overwritten during the import of support packages with SAP keyfigures.

Selection
Source:
Client:
Enter the client of the source system.
RFC Destination:
Enter the RFC destination and client for accessing the source system.
File/Upload:
Enter the file for uploading the key figures for the source system. F4help is available for choosing the file.
Match with / Target:
Client:
Enter the client of the target system.
RFC Destination:
Enter the RFC destination and client for accessing the target system.
File/Upload:
Enter the file for uploading the key figures for the target system. F4help is available for choosing the file.
Download (no matching):
Enter the file name for downloading the key figures from the sourcedata. F4 help is available for choosing the file.
If you choose the download option, the source data is saved (binary) inthe specified target file.
The system data (system, client) creator, creation data and auser-defined text (60 characters) are copied to the file as additionalinformation.

Output
A tree structure is displayed in which all key figures are shown. Theresult of the comparison check is displayed using a colored icon foreach key figure. The icons have the following meanings for the keyfigures:
@5C@ (red),,The key figure is different in both systems. The field errortype is displayed as "D" (different).
@5D@ (yellow),,The key figure only exists in one of the two systems. Thefield error type shows whether the key figure is only in the sourcesystem or only in the target system:
"L" (local) means that the key figure only exists in the source system.
"R" (remote) means that the key figure only exists in the target system.
@5B@ (green),,the key figure is identical in both systems.
Once the key figures have been matched, the status of the icons ischanged:
@48@(import),,the key figure was imported
@42@ (refresh),,the key figure was updated
If you expand a node of a key figure, the data sources and thecorresponding term definitions are displayed. The result of thecomparison check is displayed for each term definition by a coloredicon. The icons have the following meaning for the key figure terms:
@5C@ (red),,A term of the source or target system that does not have amatch in the other system, that is, the term is different in the sourceor target system.
@5D@ (yellow),,The key figure (all term definitions) either only existsin the source system or only in the target system.
@5B@ (green),,The term definition is identical in both systems.
The field "location" shows in which system the corresponding termdefinitions are. The values are:
"L",,The term definition comes from the source system.
"R",,The term definition comes from the target system.

Activities
Key figures marked red and yellow in the source system do not matchthose in the target system or do not exist. To have the same status inthe source system as in the target system, you have to match the keyfigures automatically or manually (see above). Note that you have totransport the key figures when they are matched. The transport of keyfigures is supported in the IMG activity DefineKey Figures (TA:RPKFDEF).
