Purpose
The line item report is designed to be used as receiver report from theReport Writer reporting tool as well as the BW reporting tool. Thisfunctionality can be used to drill down from a total line to a detailedline. The receiver characteristics are passed through availablevariables in the selection screen. Therefore, the selection screenneeds to contain all characteristic attributes of the total table. Thisline item report can be used for all federal ledgers since the 95 itemtable contains all federal attributes.
For a specified annual view the report shows the beginning balance outof the associated total table and listes the 95 line items as yearactivity.

Integration
The line item report is built using the ALV tool for the output part.The line item report can be activated as a receiver report in theReport Writer for drilldown purpose. The report is activated as areceiver report in the Report Writer with the following steps:
Change the Report Writer group (transaction: GR52)
Enter the Report Writer group to which the drilldown feature should beactivated.
Configure the report/report interface by clicking on the configurationbutton.
Hit the plus sign on the configuration window
Specify RT as other report type
Enter this report
Save this configuration

Prerequisites
The report requires postings in the federal ledger item table FMUSFGA

Selection
The selection screen contains all federal attributes as well as someledger-specific attributes. Take special note the attribute GL_SIRID,which can be used to specify one individual database row on theline item table FMUSFGA.

Output
The ALV layout defines the fields to be displayed. They can beconfigured individually in user-based layouts. The ALV toolset alsosupports integration with external reporting packages as well asanalytical formating tools.
The report features also the output of the entered selection screen.This information is displayed automatically if no line items could beselected with the specified request. Otherwise the "Selection ScreenInformation" function brings up this information.
In the annual process the report offers to scroll into prior or futurefiscal years.
